We are urgently seeking a compassionate, highly experienced respite caregiver to provide companion care only as temporary relief for a primary caregiver of a hospice patient in Waynesboro, Virginia.

Start: Immediate need
Contract duration: 24 hours up to 3 months, depending on need and availability
Responsibilities (Not limited to)
Provide non-medical companion care and emotional support
Supervise for safety and comfort
Offer conversation, comfort, and presence
Assist with light tasks as needed (e.g., snacks, tidying up around the patient)
Assisting with bathing, toileting, ADL's
✅ Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of LIVE-IN experience, including with hospice or end-of-life care
Emotionally mature and compassionate
Reliable and professional
Non-smoker
Valid references required
Valid Drivers License
➕ Preferred:
CNA or PCA certification (not required, but helpful)
